Antique drop dial fusee wall clock from the early 19th century with 12″ painted dial signed B & W (Benjamin and William) Gray of Leicester.

CIRCA. 1835

A stunning example of a drop dial clock of the highest quality. The 8-day English fusee movement with shouldered plates is housed inside the beautiful Mahogany case, which has elegant brass inlays and stringing below the dial and sophisticated blued steel spade hands, housing the extended pendulum of a drop dial fusee clock.

Altogether another fine example of British skilled workmanship from the early 19th century.
