Substantial 20” Drum Head Dial Clock

CIRCA. 1860

This extremely large drum head dial clock is a rather rare beast, it comes with a 17” painted dial, marked with the Royal Cypher for Edward VII. The clock pre dates this and was made circa 1860.

There is evidence of this clock being in the main hall at the Foreign Office. It has a fine mahogany veneered case with three locked doors and an access door to the rear.

The shaped fusee movement has knopped pillars and is of 8 day duration, with a cast brass key locked bezel and fine blued steel hands.

Serviced and guaranteed for 3 years.
