Henry Mountlow of London Lantern Clock
A lantern clock with alarm and striking trains. The dial, a shade under 6 ½” in diameter, surrounds a dial plate engraved with stylish Tulips and foliage, and signed Henricus Mountlow Londini Fecit.
For a lantern clock of this period, it is a very good clock, featuring the original verge escapement, original doors, original hand and bell strap, etc., all of which are things that are quite often changed on such clocks.
