A very fine small mahogany 8-day striking dial clock. The robust clock movement boasts substantial shaped plates, double fusees and anchor escapement, strikes the hours on a bell and has an 8-day duration.
The small convex dial measures only 10″ with Roman numerals and is signed “Thos Gibbs, Stratford” to the centre. A nice solid cast brass bezel surrounds the dial with a nice old convex glass.
