You are more than welcome to bring your clock to us at the shop.
However we do offer a competitively priced, fully insured, collection and delivery service, which includes setting up your clock on delivery by a professional craftsman. This is an appointment only service which we aim to fulfil at a mutually convenient time.
We cover the whole of the UK and have even worked in various countries all over the world. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have a query.
We can competently work on pretty much any mechanical timepiece, if you are not too sure exactly what we can offer you, please just ask us and we will be happy to help.

No. The Clock Work Shop, Dorset, is fully insured against theft, loss or damage. We also have state of the art security protected premises with Fog Bandit protection, we’re linked directly to the police and also have digital CCTV cameras.
We provide a full FREE estimating service for clocks, furniture and barometers, if you bring your clock, furniture or barometer to us, or alternatively have us collect it, we will then arrange to come to your home at a time to suit and collect your clock or barometer for estimate, through our collection & delivery service.
Within 5 working days we will contact you with a full condition report on your clock. We will offer our recommendations and options for your clock or barometer and provide you with a predicted cost of the required work that is necessary.
Once accepted this costing will not be charged until all work is completed and we have no hidden charges.
We do not charge for estimates, even if you do not want us to carry out any work on your clock or barometer. You can pick up your clock at no cost, should you decline our estimate.
N.B. We do charge for the collection & delivery service, dependant upon time and mileage.
If it is possible for us to fix your clock in situ, we will do so. However please understand that this is unlikely.
Clock repair requires special tooling and a controlled methodical environment, along with monitoring, testing and continual adjustment this can take considerable time.
