Description
This beautiful small mahogany bracket clock with brass inlay is accompanied with the original wall bracket also bearing brass inlay. The 6” painted dial bearing roman numerals is signed “Goodhugh, Edward St. Portman St. London” with original blued steel hands and has the strike silent option above XII. The case has brass fish scale frets backed with silk to the sides and a glazed door to the rear for access to the clock movement.
The substantial clock movement is of 8-day duration having twin fusee’s with an anchor escapement and pendulum with a heavy lenticular bob.
