Painted Dial Longcase Clock by Hancock of Yeovil
An attractive, slim longcase clock of 8 day duration, striking the hours on a bell via the rack and snail striking system. The pretty square painted dial measures 12”, featuring both Roman and Arabic numerals, a subsidiary seconds mouth type calendar and is signed Hancock Junior of Yeovil.
The gorgeous oak case has a lovely slim long trunk and door with mahogany crossbanding and a swan neck cresting that is removable from its hood.
