The moulded surround encloses a 12″ painted dial with Roman numerals signed ‘JAMES RITCHIE & SON, EDINBURGH’ fronting an eight-day chain driven fusee movement with anchor escapement, the side of the case with ivorine badge numbered ‘16722’.
