James Wrapson of Chichester Moon-phase Longcase Clock
A fine, moon-phase, painted dial longcase clock. The pretty 12” dial, subsidiary seconds, moon-phase to the arch and calendar aperture, signed J. Wrapson, Chichester.
The 8-day weight driven movement strikes the hours on a bell and has its original blued steel ‘heart’ hands. The oak break arched case is of neat proportions. James Wrapson of Chichester was recorded as working between 1798-1828.

Height: 80 ½” (6ft 8 ½”) or 205cm
