Porcelain & Gilt French Ormolu Antique Mantel Clock
The fine 8 day striking movement strikes both the hours and also a single strike at the half hour. The case is high quality cast and gilded featuring Corinthian columns to each corner, leafy decoration and a cherub slaying a sea-monster to the top, with finely painted mermaids on beautiful royal blue porcelain panels to both the front and sides of the clock.
