A Beautiful Walnut 8 Day Striking Longcase Clock by Richard Haughtin of London. An 11” square brass dial with cherub spandrels, silvered chapter ring with Roman hours and Arabic half quarter hour markers, matted centre with ringed winding holes, shaped date aperture, subsidiary seconds ring and intricately crafted blued steel hands.

The substantial, two train five pillar movement of eight day duration with anchor escapement and internal count wheel, sounding the hours on a bell and having brass cased weights and pendulum with a lead filled, brass covered bob.

A classic figured walnut square dial case with a lentical to the trunk door and cross grain mouldings through out, also has a double plinth to the base and excellent colour. This is a beautifully proportioned walnut case.
