Verge Striking Bracket Clock Signed Wieland of Walworth
A stunning example of a beautiful English striking bracket clock with silvered dial. The case is made from the finest mahogany veneers, scaled frets to the sides and brass feet and carrying handle.
Inside there is a high quality 8-day striking twin fusee movement with verge escapement. The back plate is decoratively engraved around the boarder and then signed Wieland of Walworth.
The dial is made from a single sheet of silvered brass, finely engraved with both Roman and Arabic numerals, strike/silent subsidiary and finely pierced blued steel hands.
