A typical high quality, 8-day French movement striking the hours and half hours on a gong via a rack striking system. The back of the movement stamped Samuel Marti (the maker) and Tiffany (the retailer). Original blued steel, non matching hands.
The 4” white enamel dial features pretty floral swags, a decorative cast bezel, and Brocot fine regulation above the 12 ‘o’clock position.
The high quality gilt brass case features thick beveled glass all round to allow views of the movement and pendulum.
