This attractive longcase clock of 8 day duration is weight driven with a 5 pillar striking movement striking the hours to a bell. Featuring a 12” brass dial with silvered engraved chapter ring with both roman and arabic numerals, calendar, subsidiary silvered engraved seconds and strike/silent ring decorated with spandrels and original fine blued steel hands.
A typical high quality London longcase with beautiful veneers to the break arch case featuring reeded columns to the hood and also brass inlaid reeded corners to the trunk. A handsome example of a classic London mahogany longcase.
