  • Fusee Five Glass Library Clock by Dent A quality 8-day timepiece movement, with chain fusee, an anchor escapement and a London-style pendulum. The back plate is engraved ‘Dent, 4 Royal Exchange, Cornhill’ and also features a pendulum lock for use when transporting the clock. Silvered brass dial similarly signed Dent, 4 Royal Exchange, with engraved Roman numerals and floral swags to the corners, all within a silvered mask. Original non-matching blued steel hands. The case of dark satinwood features glass to the front, back, sides and top, and locking doors. Please note that this clock has been photographed before restoration. C.1870 Height: 9 ¾” 25cm £ 4,950
